Elevator pitch

This is a talk about Python, Music and having fun. Filled with live demos, history and lessons, I want to cover a bit of what is the landscape of music production and performance where python might be involved.

Abstract

This talk is about writing songs and playing music with python. Back in 2017 I came to know FoxDot, a python wrapper around SuperCollider, which is a super popular open source synthesizer. Since then, I have been using it to create entertaining lighting talks and this time I want to dive in into the new kids (alternatives) on the block since FoxDot retired.
