Privacy Notice

We respect your personal data.

Personal Information

Under no circumstances do we sell, rent, or distribute your personal information (including your email address, name, or any other details you have entered into your profile) to third parties. Only our system administrators and support team have access to your data. You can modify and delete any information at any time from your profile page.

We have made efforts to request the least amount of personal information possible across the site, both for presenters and for regular participants.

Presenters are invited to provide additional personal information, part of which will become public (e.g., complete biography). The presentation submission form explains which data will be published and which data will be kept private, and each presenter can preview their public page before it is made accessible and can modify their content at any time.

Participants may choose to publish their profile page to other participants at PyCon Italia to facilitate networking during the event.

No SPAM Guarantee

We will neither sell nor rent your email to other entities. We respect your choices.

If you subscribe to our newsletter or mailing list, your email address will be used only to send messages from the list and will not be used or shared in any other way. You can unsubscribe at any time by following the link at the bottom of each message.

If you consent to receive job offers from sponsors seeking staff, no personal information (including name and email address) will be shared with these sponsors: all messages will go through our systems to protect your privacy. You can withdraw your consent at any time from your profile page.

Removal of Information

If you want to delete your account and all information, you must email us with your request.

Our staff will delete your data from all files, database records, and backups. You will be informed at the end of the process. The information cannot be restored afterward.

The only exception to the complete deletion of data relates to invoices: if you have purchased something from our site, we are legally required to keep invoices for 5 years after issuance.
